This is an art piece that you can use for anything. If the character doesn't have an existing visual reference, you might be looking for a character design commission.

Rough concept sketch: One posed, low detail, full-body sketch. Casual; good if you don't need exact detail.Full concept reference sheet: One front-facing full-body, two headshots, and anything else needed to showcase the whole design. Clean and refined so artists can stay on-model.

File is one PNG with a white or transparent background, at least 1500px. (unless otherwise specified).
Commercial usage fees may apply.

A: If you're not sure, ask! But here's a guideline.

Q: When do I pay?
A: Typically, I'll send you the invoice after you've approved of the first phase of the work (usually the sketch). You can pay all at once or in parts. I can only give you the finished work once it's fully paid.But commissions through Artistree require the full payment to be upfront, and I can't change that.

Q: How does commissioning through Artistree help you?
A: Every Artistree commission helps my visibility in their marketplace!Be aware the price will be slightly higher than what's listed in my info. It's meant to account for payment processor fees and get artists the full amount we actually charge.They also help plant trees with every commission, so that's nice too. Trees are nice.

Q: How do you calculate prices?
A: My flat base prices are based on how long each commission type generally takes. I record my work times so I can continue to make accurate and fair estimates for all kinds of commissions. Example: Rough concept sketches have consistently taken me about 5 hours to complete, and I work at $20/hr, which makes the base price $100.So if you have a budget, ignore the listed prices. I can work faster by drawing less detail in places that aren't the focal point, so it's affordable and still looks great.

Q: How do you calculate the prices for VTuber model art?
A: (illustration base price + separated pieces) + commercial usage. It's +70% of the base price to separate pieces and +20% of that subtotal for commercial usage. So that breakdown would look like this:VTuber full body

"VOCALOID" means any character originating from the VOCALOID engine, while "other vocal synth" means UTAU, SynthV, etc. Without splitting hairs too much, my goal is to fill my time with the characters who defined my love for storytelling through MVs. Those are largely "old gen"/"mid gen" VOCALOIDs and fanloids.

✦ Original characters count, so long as the song uses a VOCALOID voicebank, but I'd like to be part of the character design process
✦ I'm a Teto fan, but I feel slightly uncomfortable about the community around her since the release of her SynthV. I've also gotten more requests to draw her than anyone else. I'll include projects that use her UTAU voicebank, but for now, maybe not projects that only use her SynthV and nothing else.
✦ Since I'm working for free, my usual commission guidelines and ToS don't apply. Please be understanding if I want more creative liberty or can't meet strict deadlines. This is supposed to be for fun, and my paid work might take priority.
